Questions We Actually Get
What thickness of wood can these clamps handle?
What thickness of wood can these clamps handle?
The clamps hold material up to 2¾ inches (70 mm) thick. That covers standard 2×4 framing lumber, ¾" plywood, and most hardwood stock you'd use in furniture builds. For thicker timber, you'd want a larger corner clamp.
Are these truly ±0.1° accurate, or is that marketing?
Are these truly ±0.1° accurate, or is that marketing?
The machining tolerance is ±0.1°, meaning each clamp is verified before shipping. That said, real-world accuracy depends on how you apply them — make sure your workpieces are flush to both arms before tightening. We recommend clamping both faces down to your bench if possible.

Collapsible rowDo these work with pocket screw joinery (Kreg-style)?
Yes, they work great with pocket screws. Set the corner with ProSquare 90, drive your pocket screws, then unclamp. The pieces hold their angle while you work without the clamp interfering with the pocket hole location.
How is this different from a cheap set on Amazon for $15?
How is this different from a cheap set on Amazon for $15?
The $15 sets are typically stamped steel or zinc die-cast with friction-only holding. They flex under pressure and drift off 90° as you work. ProSquare 90 uses a locking screw to fix the joint firmly. The 6061 aluminum also resists the slight flexing that cheaper materials show when you apply real clamping pressure.
